Update your book marks!

July 2, 2009

I have been working on the change over of our website to a new server. I tell you, it is like moving!

I have most of the content moved and am starting on the photo gallery pages. My hope is to have the puppies pictures organized by their litter and as I get updates and pictures I can store them there so you all can see each other’s litter mates develop.

The problem with blogging (although I love it) is storing the pictures over time eats up memory space which you then will have to purchase more of… In my new site, I am going to link the photos from the gallery and savethe photos in one organized place instead of several. It’s a grand idea but time consuming. I liken it to cleaning out a garage.

You should see how many pictures I have stored all over the place! My computer, flicker, yahoo, the blog and my old web server. What was I thinking? :)

And it does not help I get “strolling off memory lane” as I look at the pups develop through time.

And my garden and sunshine drags me away from computer work as finally work settles down.

And that I now watercolor with my mom on a weekly basis.

I plan on chipping away on it a little at a time, but if you find that your old bookmarks to photos or pages don’t work, please let me know and then start at the home page and update your book marks. Soon, okay, not soon soon… in a while … yes, a while….I will have it all under one little roof.

Happy 4th of July

July 2, 2009

Just a reminder that with Fourth of July approaching first, hang your flag!
THEN have you thought about your dog and fireworks? Some do fine with the loud bangs and whistles… while some don’t. Libby, our retired resident grandmother now is not at all comfortable with the sounds at first. She settles in with the bangs, but it those long whistles that she does not like.
Chief barks and protects our home that I am sure he thinks is under invasion!
Visit with your vet about natural soothers or some good doggie drugs for the fourth if you have neighbors like mine that think the third is the starting point and the early morning of the fifth is when they just get started with their home made or I am sure illegal fireworks.
I love the 4th of July and enjoy fireworks, but I also love my dogs, my roof, and my sleep.
Here’s to Liberty!
